  • First ever Bio ethanol bike

Honda has launched the first ever environmentally friendly bio ethanol bike in Tokyo...

The bike runs on environmentally friendly fuel which is a mixture of bio ethanol and gasoline. They named it as CG-150Titan Mix. Honda wil market the product from march in Brazil. There are 3 models of the bike which is of the capacity of 150cc. The prices range from 2,700-3,100 dollars.

Source: I have read this article from leading telugu newspaper(Sakshi) on 12th march.

    News Approved.

It would've been good if you could've posted perhaps a couple of pictures of the same, off the net may be.

Looks like the shine but the head lamp cluster is Gixxer-ish but funnily the indicators are embedded.

hmmm... going to Brazilian market? makes good sense to get it to Indian market as well.

Thar reminds me, both TVS & Bajaj announced last year that 100 CC CNG bikes would be launched by Jan 09... what happened to them???

At least the design could have been more palatable!!

Paying 3100 dollars for a machine which looks like this is a bloody rip-off!!

Not only the looks but the engine is also similar to shine and even the unicorn in looks and capacity is 150cc

Well guys, I dropped in this thread with some big expectations. You know why?

Because, the last Bio-Ethanol news I saw was about a Suzuki GSX1000R Prototype ...

It claimed some seriously low running costs, alongwith quite good performance, albeit not as good as gasoline ...

so I thought maybe the Bio-GSX is back ... but alas, no!
