Robbie Maddison, an Australian surfer slash stunt rider has achieved an incredible feat of riding huge waves in Tahiti - on his KTM dirt bike. He has just released a video named "Robbie Maddison Pipe Dream".
Robbie Maddison is famous for stunts like jumping his bike over a football field and back flipping over the opened Tower Bridge in London and and acted as the stunt-double for Daniel Craig in James Bond films. Riding his bike across waves was his most ambitious stunt yet and took two years of preparation.
With the help of his sponsors DC Shoes and his daredevil will he managed to shoot a commercial that showcased his superhuman skill at beautiful Tahiti Island.
They actually rigged up his KTM dirt bike with floaty things and made his rear tyre act like some sort of propeller blades. The three and a half minutes long video shows Maddison tackling the humongous waves of French Polynesia.
