    Vespa launches 150cc scooter

    Vespa launched a new range of scooters in India today - Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL. Both the VXL and SXL will be available in 150 cc and 125 cc variants. The 150 cc scooter will be the most powerful scooter in the Indian market. The SXL 150 will be priced at 88,696 INR and the VXL will be priced at 84,641 INR ex-showroom Pune. The SXL 125 will be priced at 81967 INR & the VXL 125 will be priced at 77308 INR ex-showroom Pune. This scooter was launched by football legend and their global brand ambassador Alessandro Del Piero

    The single cylinder 150 cc engine will produce 11.44 bhp and the 125 cc one will be giving 10.5 bhp and 10.6 Nm of torque.

          Starting off a new war!
          A much needed entry! The design looks good as well - specially the Green one.

                      11.44 bhp is pretty high for a scooter, right? Besides, there will be people buying it just for the retro styling

                      bring back the kinetic blaze somebody.... 165cc and 12 bhp and still gave 40kmpl.. it was way faster than many motorcycles had some serious comfy seats man.

                        Glad to see 'mature' scooters making a comeback. The Eterno was perhaps the last of the 150s. This will certainly open up a new segment and competition will make things much more interesting.
                        OT: Agree with ironhorse, the Blaze was one of the comfiest scoots to have hit the Indian roads, the Hero Z1R will probably be the only thing that may come close, provided it stays true to the concept showcased.
                        Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

                          Hero these days is more into sticker business than in biking.

                            ask me... I roamed around the country on that thing! It was a sofa on the move that go could do 100+ whole day long...the only thing it lacked was good brakes. A disc brake version came later on though.
