Chris Pfiefer has posted this information on his facebook timeline this afternoon. He also made it clear that he will not stop riding – because riding is his life, which will never change.

Quotes from Chris Pfiefer Facebook post
    Dear friends, fans and partners,
I’ll keep it short: after 20 years as a professional rider I've decided that it's time to stop riding shows. I'm 45-years-old now and in the past months it's become increasingly hard to ride at a top level. But this has always been my ambition and I've always said that if I cannot get any better then it’ll be time for me to quit and to leave the field to younger riders.
In the past 20 years I’ve ridden thousands of shows all around the world - in 94 countries! It's been an unforgettable experience with countless adventures and experiences. I've worked hard to bring the sport stunt riding out into the mainstream and to thrill, enthuse and entertain many spectators. What a wonderful time I’ve had!

I rode my last stunt riding contest in 2010 and not too long ago I performed at what was probably my last show. But one thing's for sure, I will not quit riding – because riding is my life. That will never change.

Many thanks to all of you!
    CHRIS”

Chris Pfeiffer also visited India in 2010 and 2011 and we are proud to say that we got to be the official photographers for his tours in India and also to be the motorcycling community partner.

Here's a video of a small chit chat that we had with him during his 2010 tour

This interview was taken in a hurry on the last day and last hour of the Red Bull Chris Pfeiffer Tour of India in 2010. xBhp.com was the Official Motorcycling Community…

    News approved.

I got a chance to travel with him to all his shows during his 2011 India tour to photograph him and that will always be one of the most memorable moments of my career with xBhp. He's not only a champion athlete but also a gentleman and a down to earth human being who loved entertaining his audience.

All the best Chris! Hope you still have the plans of teaching young kids the art of freestyle motorcycling.

Yes he is the master in his own field I happened to watch his both the shows and even clicked pic with him, the first being in Select City and then in Gurgaon. A true master of his art. All the best for your life Chris, come to India to ride in Himalayas....
