    Harley-Davidson Street 750 Stolen on Test Ride In Hyderabad! Thief caught in Mumbai.

    A Harley-Davidson Street 750 motorcycle has been stolen in Hyderabad by a person who wanted a test ride today! The Banjara Hills Harley-Davidson showroom had received a test ride request by one Mr. Tahir Ali, who had given fake details and made away with the motorcycle. harley davidson street 750 stolen in hyderabad The motorcycle stolen was a Street 750 model, the entry level motorcycle by Harley-Davidson, which costs INR 5.7 lakh. The police have registered a case under Sections 379 (theft) and Section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code and are studying CCTV camera footage to look for the culprit. The police have confirmed that the details filled in, mobile number, email, address etc are fake.

            The Harley thief was nabbed by police in Mumbai according to ABN Andhra Jyothi daily, Hyderabad.

                        IT is because of criminals like these that our community gets a bad name. And its not limited to this incident.
                        Many a times, many such spineless creatures on bikes take advantage of real bikers by asking for loan, professional help, valuable stuff/ merchandise, etc. and they never pay for it even if they agreed otherwise...

                        My good luck is that whosoever came to Ajmer and met me, or asked for help, were nice genuine guys. But I keep hearing incidents from other sources though.


                        Just being a bike lover is not guarantee that they will be courteous, honest or ethical. We have to be cautious, yet discreet about it.

                          You'd think a submarine engineer would make enough money to own a 6 lakh worth Harley, but he chose to steal it? Maybe he thought that if he stole it and parked it in a garage for the time he spent in the ocean, cops wouldn't get to him? Pretty stupid idea to show up at dealership wearing a cap lol

                            I don't think he intended to own the bike. There must've been a bet or something like that. Whatever the case, test rides for premium bikes will surely get harder!
