Young Machine renders Ninja R2 and S2 leak... Ninja 650 to be refreshed?

Last time, in related news, we discussed that Kawasaki Ninja might go electric with trademarks in place:-

    http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/329...nt-images.html

Now, it seems Young Japan has an insider information about two bikes R2 and S2.

S2 seems like a redesigned Ninja 650. Call it CBR650F effect or progress, we're now seeing some pics which show a Ninja 650 in inline 4 supercharged form, with a weird intake system near the fairing.

These are just renders though, so don't rely on it completely. Tokyo Motor Show is about 4 days from now, we might know more then.

The front panel seems a little confusing to me. Otherwise looks like a decent one!

      UPDATE:
Guys, we now have some more renders of the upcoming R2 (assumed to be 800cc inline4). These renders have apparently been made by MCN, on the basis of some insider information from Kawasaki.

And here's one of the engine...

I believe that irrespective of the horsepower on tap (which must still be above 160 anyhow), it will have the torque to match its 1000cc rivals... Such an engine (around 600-800cc) would not need to be purposely detuned or limited, as was the case with Ninja H2R, the 300 bhp racetrack monster.

Not exactly. Rumor is that the displacement will be similar to the Z800, but performance won't, since this is a smaller version of the H2 series. That supercharger will surely push R2 in the 160-170 hp club.

            Okay...
I hope they sell it in more numbers and not like the H2.
I dont know if i will ever get to see one.

After seeing a helmetless guy using the Kawasaki Ninja H2 on Facebook... I think they should sell it in lesser units, with an interview system. Why should we let just about any random 22-something guy to get one?
These kids have no idea about the dangers on road, and they disrespect a masterpiece they never deserved in my opinion.

Sorry, but if a guy like that can get one of the rare 5 units, then something is not quite right. I know its a money world, but H2 was truly a bike I didn't wanted an helmetless "just-turned adult" to ride.

EDIT: Sorry, he's not from India. He's from Pakistan.

anyways how does it matter if that guy is from pakistan ?

You can't dare to ride it IN full race suit?? No one's saying you get a full race suit, but at least the helmet, shoes and basic full body cover should be there.

                    And 100% it matters!
Because I didn't want the 5 rare bikes dispatched to India, to end up in unworthy hands. At least in India. Now, if another guy posts a FB pic with a Honda RC212's road edition, without helmet and with groceries on the levers, only a non-biker can stay calm & undisturbed, seeing this.
No idea about Pakistan though, whether it was imported indirectly from another country, or was it official, no idea.

It appears that Kawasaki think India is an important market, therefore a total of 26 H2s have been sent here so far. Of these, a batch of ten landed last month.

Yea... Given my riding skills and limits, i am always afraid of even sitting/taking off stand supersports and other liter class bikes lest i lose balance and drop it.

I get your point. Most of the xbhpians would cringe on seeing a rider without helmet.

And dont you worry about the H2........... It will always be in $$ Worthy Hands $$.
