    Re: Bajaj Avenger Series Launched

    A little disappointed!!!

I have been a fan of Avenger and has been riding all across north India on 200 CC version since Feb 2008.
The ride has always comfortable, looks are precisely moderate and attractive, colors soothing too.

But, what I expected after all those almost 8 years was an upgrade to the machine, 220 was already been done couple of years back to the machine without damaging the looks.
The bike stood for elegance and attitude for the long distance riders.
But, coming up with 150 CC, 200 CC and 220 CC i would say is a sort of degradation, it's always easy to justify the deed.
But, as for Cruiser segment my expectations were:

    1. Bajaj must have stood out with some heavier engine around 250+ to stand out along with other variants.
    2. I personally don't like the "flashy" graphics as and admire my old Avenger better.
    3. The use of chrome looks forcefully done on the bike.
    4. And instead of upgrading coming with 150 CC and naming it "Street" as in Harley, sounds like "Chinese attempt" of iphone

Somewhat, feels like Yamaha Enticer rejuvenated by Bajaj.

No offence just my thought, please revert with suggestions.

True they should have brought something better for us with higher cc bikes but I guess this is just the start from the company very soon we might be able to see the 400cc by bajaj in the comming days as which was shown in the last expo. Let's see what happens in the upcoming expo.
but yes the bike looks very much better than before even while ridding it. I suggest go and take a test ride of this bike to really feel the bike on your own.
