Looks so cool! Though it may not be a practical one, still it looks like something straight out from a sci-fi movie.

Honestly, I hate it. Looks like conjoined twins. Urgh.

There are just 2 disks on the front brakes. There should be 4 discs. ok, Jokes apart..

What I'm interested is in, how it steers. It has some kind of a rock-arm, which enables different positions of the front forks as is visible in the below video:-
          Youtube.com/watch?v=P27VV2NSgUo
I still wonder if you want to brake mid corner, will the rock arm bring it back to normal standing position, is it like a suspension of a kind which brings back to normal, on no pressure applied to it? Well, these questions can only be answered by seeing it being ridden.

This product might not appeal to all bikers, as I'm seeing here.
But, surely, there are people around the world who can use such a machine well, or to whom the machine will suit well.

For example, People planning to keep a bike for its smaller space/ efficiency, but want a cabin around it. With 2 wheels ahead, they can wrap it around a decent high quality cabin to escape pollution. (Although, that's better avoided in India, seeing the quality standards here.)

Or people who can't balance for any reason. Or, handicapped people who can't hold a foot down to support the vehicle.

Just imagine, a biker who went paraplegic or otherwise paralysed after an accident in the 90's, who was riding 4 wheels for years now, can lean into corners after many years. Just going horizontally placed, and suddenly she/he's able to lean like the older days....

For him/ her, won't Yamaha mean the world, for this trike they made available, even in markets where the MP3 was never sold?

They're getting creative and I love it! It may not be for us, let it not be. Market has a lot of stuff that's not for us. So what?

Or it maybe for us too.
There's nothing too bad about it, its a trike with a 900cc 3 cylinder engine, so it might just grant us some stable high speed cornering... who knows how much fun it is, till we don't ride it?

Just wondering how did you find it cool? To me it's a scary one. LOL, Just kidding. Such a hybrid design that cannot be accepted by any normal biking enthusiatic.

What a weird looking machine what is the additional wheel in front doing? May be good as a triad bike for entertainment on sands/offroad.

Yamaha alredy have a 125cc 3 wheeler in Europe. An extra grip up front(where its most needed) add to more stability and thereby guaranteeing more safety mainly in wet urban commuting not sacrificing quick filtering characteristics of a motorcycle in city traffic. And with this concept shown its the sportiest you could ever imagine in this segment. And with honda also joining the party these trikes are on a powerful move.
And the 3 wheeled Triglide(which has a reversed set up with traditional one upfront and 2 in the rear) represents the 3rd most popular motorcycle for Harley in the US.
