Re: DSK Benelli TNT 25 Launched at 1.68 Lakh!
Probably because the bike is assembled in puneOriginally posted by ROHAN SPEEDOFREAK SHARMA View PostI thought they were taking a time of a month or two. Atleast that's what the showroom guy told me. Thats great news anyway. Do let us know how it rides. Also check the vibration as its a single cylinder. And is it ridable at low speeds in higher gear. Thanks.
, I own a KTM RC200 right now, selling it due to back pain....
So sure the comparison is up to finalize between Duke 200 and TNT 250.
For now TNT looks and sounds fresh, will check if it rides fresh and if it makes sense to put approx 43K extra over duke 200.sigpic

43k for better posture , better pillion comfort, higher capacity fuel tank, Italian DNA and no drumming noise.Originally posted by BiKeLovER View PostProbably because the bike is assembled in pune

Make a wise choice this time.

The graphics and the colored accessories shouts out loud 🔊 "CHINESE". The Italian flair is gone. Better to leave it stock. Hope the quality has not gone in that direction.
Also the handle bar is not flat, kinda looks weird (personal). I would prefer the handle bar from 300.Last edited by sman999; 12-19-2015, 05:58 PM.Ride Safe!

Re: DSK Benelli TNT 25 Launched at 1.68 Lakh!
All those accessories per bike and the bike itself came into India for 1.01 lakh each. Can anybody care to explain how after application of 60% CKD did DSK manage to price it at 1.68 lakhs? There's still assembly and dealership costs and a profit margin to be added to that?
What exactly is going on with the customs duty these days? Does it reduce if a local importer is importing it? Are there special clauses for local companies?

Don't know bro may be they aren't making much profit from it but the pricing has been goodOriginally posted by Nithesh View PostAll those accessories per bike and the bike itself came into India for 1.01 lakh each. Sensible pricing. And as promised, if they manage to keep the price unchanged even with the ABS, then nothing like it.
300 is an entirely different league. 250 is being projected more as a regular commu-tourer and targeted at CBR 250 and Duke/RC 200 imo. It's a win-win situation for both Benelli and customers. What Benelli need to do is immediately increase number of service centers. Their rivals are already far ahead in this front.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Just went to benelli showroom in teynampet Chennai. Looks almost like 300, just the side view is different.
On road price Chennai
With MRF - 1.98L
With Metz - 2.07L
Delivery in 10 days as said by sales rep. Accessories list not available yet with them.
One more thing. It has single disk at front, but has provision for one more. It can be made double disk just like 300, will cost a little more though.

I think except the handle bar, mudguard and tyre, it's a 300's package with regards to front fork, console, alloy. So be the provision for one more disk.Originally posted by kannanmr16 View PostJust went to benelli showroom in teynampet Chennai. Looks almost like 300, just the side view is different.

No, the bikes have just arrived and they are not ready to start and rev it a little bit.Originally posted by sman999 View PostI think except the handle bar, mudguard and tyre, it's a 300's package with regards to front fork, console, alloy. So be the provision for one more disk.

I did sit on the bike though and found it to be much lighter, I was worried it would be heavier.
Handle bar was a little wide for me, since I am used to SF's handlebars. Seating was relaxed though. The rear foot peg clicks when u fold or unfold it, that felt nice. Overall felt nice about the build quality.
I was thinking saving up some dough and going for either 300 or R3/MT03. Now I am in more confusion.
