On Sunday morning 20th December 2015 over 150 Harley Davidson bikes were ridden by Mumbai doctors. The ride was organised in association with Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) aimed at raising awareness about the increasing instances of violence against doctors.

The ride commenced at 10am from the JJ hospital, and crossed Nair and KEM hospitals before ending at the Sion hospital.

Dr Sagar Mundada , MARD central president said:

    News Approved.

So, they will ride bikes just to protest? This is unheard of. I wonder if it will influence anyone at all.
The entire country is riding bikes, and its not a sign of low status.

Cannot see any banner or anything as their protest sign. Probably this is a get together for them.

So there are over 150 doctors in mumbai who own Harleys. Does it ring a bell?

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

            +1 to the above.

I think they should board a bus for work. What an initiative, are they really out of their mind. They ride their bikes just to protest, for what..getting publicity ??

An unique way to lodge a protest. But I doubt the effectiveness.

On a lighter note - the protest is regarding the security of the doctors but many of them can be seen riding without adequate riding gears!
The image is not from their protest, read closely.
