Bangalore citizens can now book Bajaj/ KTM/ Kawasaki bikes from Flipkart.

Months earlier, Snapdeal collaborated with Hero Motocorp to sell their bikes over internet. The actual dealing was to handled by the nearest dealer.

The latest news is that, you can now book your favorite Bajaj/KTM/Kawasaki motorcycles (and some Maruti cages) over Flipkart, the Indian origin shopping website. A strange thing is that right now the delivery is only for Pin Code 560008, which appears in Bengaluru, the capital of the state of Karnataka. So, that means only Bengaluru citizens can avail this method.

The booking amount is mentioned as Rs. 3000, and the rest of the conditions are mentioned on the page.
While its not a big news right now, its surely amusing to see motorcycles and cars on online shopping websites.

If you're thinking about ordering a ZX10R over Cash on Delivery to have a good glance as it, well, what an amazing idea indeed!

Only that the agency (Khivraj Motors) had this idea before, and COD is not available, on any of these products.

E-bikes are one thing. And a Ninja300 is another thing to buy over the net.
Don't know about others but I'm a little sceptical about this idea(no offense).

It's just another sales avenue. Don't expect the bikes to be home delivered like other products with a 30 day return policy
You just make the booking amount and the rest of the formalities and pickup at your nearest dealer.

i don't think so, maybe you can cancel the booking at best. no way they let you own the bike and offer replacements
Do read the info on one of the pictures of the respective listings on flipkart and the terms/conditions mentioned.

The process shown just interprets booking phase being taken care off by the website. What follows is a regular drill. Now that everything has becoming online and things are getting delivered at your doorsteps, this is just another convenience - A factor that a typical city dweller wouldn't mind considering.

With its HQ in Bangalore, Flipkart is undoubtedly reducing odds by piloting this in the garden city.
