The Velotica D'Epoca or Vintage Speed as it is called in English blends old world speed with vintage looks. Yes the 90s is kind of old world now! The bike in question is originally a 1996 model Ducati 900 Supersport SP which looks absolutely nothing like the original!
The frame of the bike has been modified with stainless steel elements. The fuel tank is made from aluminium with a British race bike design look. There is an oil temperature gauge which is inspired the 50s Nortons. The new age technology is in the form of carbon fibre which is used in the tail piece.
Unlike what you would expect, the bike doesn't use spoked wheels, instead aluminium wheels are used. A few custom bits and bobs have been machined to ensure the rider enjoys perfect ergonomics. By perfect, we of course mean aggressive, since there is absolutely no other way in which you should ride a Cafe Racer! But the most striking object on the Vintage Speed is the exhausts. The dual exhaust snakes its way through the entire ensemble to look absolutely gorgeous.
The engine hasn't been modified much, but the carb had to be retuned for the custom exhausts. The bike also gets 3way adjustable Showa forks an alloy swingarm and an Ohlins mono-shock at the rear.
This bike looks absolutely stunning. Doesn't it?
