AGV helmet signed by Moto GP legends who have won around 58 world titles combined became the most expensive helmet in the world to be sold in an auction worth Rs 1.95 crore.
Alberto Hernandez (A Spanish Student) and Oscar Haro of LCR Honda MotoGP team decided to create a pink helmet, as the pink colour is associated with many cancer research charities, then to get it signed by some of the most famous riders in motorcycling history and sell it off in an auction.
The funds generated from the auction was donated to AECC, (Spanish Association against Cancer) (www.aecc.es) and Riders For Health (Riders for Health - Riders for Health), the official charity of MotoGP.
The helmet has been signed by legends like
The helmet also got the approval and autograph of the Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports (MotoGP promoters).
The winning bid was made by Anthony Constantinou, CEO of CWM FX and the Title Sponsor of the CWM LCR Honda Team from 2015.
