re: Honda Navi On-Road Price Is More Than Rs. 50,000/-

    News Approved.

I think we would not get Honda's clarification on this matter, because its a trend with Honda. Honda already charges extra for its accessories, even in Dio, Activa, etc.
A fully accessorised Honda Navi will cost north of the 60k mark. Base model is around 52k on road or so.

We can say that the ex-showroom price mentioned at 39,500 is a bit misleading though, but since the trend is going on for a lot of time, why do we complain "now"? Half the world anyways asks for the on road price, right?

Remember, its a unique bike, and Honda was expected to cash on it anyways. Imagine you having no knowledge of the price, and you're asked, how will this be priced? Would any sensible person knowing Honda say that it will cost around 35-40k on road?
    We know better, right?

Although, I do hope Honda totally eliminates this practice of charging for accessories, and conforms to the industry standards regarding the concept of ex-showroom price.

Yeah Honda is shrude,no doubt about it.Charging for RVM its just unacceptable in my books. They are toying around as they very well know their reliability is on top(Engine).5000rs for accessories for a 39K motorcycle, its just amazing !

I was very keen on buying this cute bike. However, I read that this Navi has been completely conceptualized and built by Honda India and have since decided to keep a barge poles distance from it. The last time Honda India built an engine as Splendor killer was Dream Yuga and its entire Neo CD110, etc variants. When my brother was looking to buy a bike in 2013, I strongly recommended Yuga to him and he eventually purchased it. The bike sucks like no other and puts to shame the Honda brand. The engine has given up life at 30K and needs to much of repair and maintain on top of it being a bland to ride. If my brothers was the isolation case, I would have given Navi a chance, not anymore. Yes, I would give it consideration if it proves itself over 2-3 years. Till that time, no Navi for me.

And the company said it is freshly designed by young Indian engineers AFAIK, still it's not a fresh design, it's just a Honda Grom Chassis with activa engine ,front shocks and tyres. 😕

Leg guards and engine guards? You mean crash protection? Aren't they always seen as add-ons?
