They won't.
I don't think anyone going for N650 will change his mind for 30k.
And those in love with the benelli won't look at Er6n anyways.

But why no price slashing for N650 ?

Ninja 650 was 50K costlier than ER6N and now the difference will be 80K. I went out to buy N650 and ended up buying ER6N 9 months back. I anyways wanted to have something powerful but naked. Benelli's quality is not as good as Kawasaki(no offense). Also they have limited service centres which becomes a pain as you don't feel like taking your bike to a local mechanic . Anyways apart from the wind protection I didn't find much difference between N650 and ER6N. In fact I found ER6N more agile and has better acceleration being lighter

Please note that its however the 2015 model, if that's not a bother. Bikes manufactured in 2015 will retail for Rs. 4.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), down from the previous asking price of Rs. 5.37 lakh.

And, the new 2016 version with a new paint job & Dunlop Sportmax D214 tyres does not get this discount.

I have been waiting for the ABS version of the Ninja 650 since ages now. I'm hoping they launch the 2016 model with ABS once the 2015 stock clears out. Does any one have updates about this?

2016 model is without ABS I am owning now, next one probably would be. (Could not wait any longer for ABS

I watched a review of Benelli 600i by Vikas Rachamalla

I found technical negligence in basics.. I refrained myself from purchasing this despite inline 4. Instead gone for Ninja 650 due to quality promise of Kawasaki

Same here too, I was rooting for the 600i since it landed on Indian shores last year, never even had a thought of trying the ER-6n back then, but one ride with both the bikes changed the whole perception itself. I rented them both for 3 days to know exactly how they behave in city commutes as well as on highways, and the Kwacker won my heart straight away, I couldn't believe that this bike was so nimble when riding in city traffic and the huge torque available, that I feel is the WOW factor for this machine, every single time a slight twist of the throttle and BOOM, its gone, plus the bulletproof reliability from Kawasaki made my brain happy too (first time both my heart and my brain were in agreement of the same

)and with the 30k discount and with the Kawasaki riding jacket, it was like a cherry on the cake...having now ridden 1200+ KMS with a huge grin on the face every time I take it out....

I am no endorser of the brand but have experience of a K-tec engine in my old 115 Bajaj and than I bought this machine (N650R) with my eyes closed (Without Test Drive). It seems Kawi knows the practicality and does not believe in overdoing things for the sake of it.
