  • Piaggio inaugurates its 4th Motoplex Store in Kochi

    Piaggio Group has launched its 4th Motoplex Store in Kochi. Inaugurated by Mr. Stefano Pelle, Managing Director and CEO, Piaggio India, the store is set in a sprawling area of 4,950 sq. ft. at Bypass Road, Padivattom, Kochi. The first Motoplex was opened in Pune in November 2015, followed by openings in Hyderabad and Chennai in 2016.

    Not to sound critical here or piss anyone off, but I don't understand their strategy here. Kochi Chennai and Hyderabad before Delhi Mumbai and Bangalore for sale of premium two wheelers? Surely that can't be the best strategy.
    Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

      I can't remember which, but some other company had opened up in Kochi before they opened in Delhi. Triumph maybe.

      But then i am getting old, so memory isn't all that good anymore!

        Wow. Must be a big market in these regions. Cannot otherwise think of any reason why they'd chose to set up first there!

          I was about to post the same query as above. Kerala is undeniably potential for any vehicle, both 2-wheeler & 4-wheeler IMHO. The vehicular passion/force is with them
          Nevertheless, the approach still packs a lot of question.
