  • 2017 Harley Davidson Street 750 to Come with ABS in India

Harley-Davidson has introduced a much-needed update to one of its best-selling models namely Street 750. The company has recently added an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) to its list of features. The braking system of the Harley-Davidson Street 750 has been a major issue of the bike right since its inception. The regular complaints from buyers regarding poor feedback from brakes made the company integrate the bike with improved brakes as its 2016 update. With the recent update bringing an important braking update, it seems that the issue due to which the Street 750 was often seen with a negative eye will tend to perish. The 2017 model has been launched in US, Europe and Latin American markets for the time being.

The other prime highlight of the update includes a smart security system featuring a key fob. Cosmetically, the motorcycle receives a new paint job that comes in colours of black and red. Technically, the Harley-Davidson Street 750 has been untouched and continues to retain the same motor with identical power and torque figures. The launch of the 2017 model is still some time away but the company has already updated its official India website

Harley Davidson Street 750 comes powered by a 749cc, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine that comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine develops a maximum power of 58 bhp with a peak torque output of 59 Nm. The motorcycle gets disc brakes at the front and rear for effective braking duties and with the addition of ABS, the braking gets even more precise. The pricing of the 2017 Harley Davidson Street 750 is yet to be disclosed for the Indian market. Expect the pricing to be on a slightly higher part in comparison to its previous trim that retails at INR 4.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Stay tuned for more updates!

Harley-Davidson Street 750 to get ABS in India

Harley-Davidson Street 750 to get ABS making it one of the most affordable exotic cruisers in the country.

The price hike has not been announced as of yet and the keyless entry has been confimed 'Not coming to India'. But its existance means modders can find a way to get it installed onto their motorcycle; or as an added accessory.
