    If you are absolutely in love with it, You should wait for a month or so. With festive season arriving, Bajaj will make everything clear. The Problem with a discontinued model is, the resale value will go for a toss. Except that, I dont think, any thing of big concern. The AS150 is still on sale, You can get spare parts from it. And even I rate AS 200 as a very comfortable machine for touring purpose.

      Guys, don't indulge in name calling. Yes, newer batches of AS200 aren't rolling out at present.
      This maybe due to 2 reasons:
      1. CS400/VS400
      2. BS4 complaince. Bajaj said all it's vehicles will be BS4 compliant by 2017 April.

      People who want the bike should wait.
      Else, there are a plethora of options available.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

            Dear Sree, I think, discount is being offered only in case bike is bought on finance from Bajaj Finance. This offer is there since last 3-4 day on their FB page.

            Do let me know pls if discount is there if bike is bought on Cash as well. I had booked P220 and will be taking delivery before 14th. Pls guide if I am eligible for this offer in any way.

                    I think we should wait for official statement from bajaj, similar thing was speculated for RS200 but it turned out that production was halted for some time and bike was still in production.

                        I strongly guess it could be due to BS4 norms.

                        While Bajaj is very clever, & will not release an official statement because the buyers wouldnt buy the BS3 stocks! since a more efficient BS4 would be available.

                        This is not only applicable to bajaj, but all companies. I think slowly everybody will enforce BS4 within next 6 months, & quickly sell off the existing BS3 stocks.

                        Only Honda is ahead in the BS4 game.

                                Has the Pulsar AS200 production been stopped?

                                I went to the Bajaj showroom(Near Gemini) today in chennai to checkout the Dominar in person and i enquired about the Pulsar AS200 and the guy at showroom told me they have sopped the production because of NS200 (2017) launch and AS not doing very well in market.

                                I remember a news about the production halt to start making AS comptaible with BS4 norms.

                                Also, was suprised to see the NS200(2017) at display, i thought it was yet to launch.
