    Hero MotoCorp Bajaj Auto - The Pune based two-wheeler manufacturer, reported a 5% drop in total sales at 3,25,347 units in August 2016 in comparison to 3,41,965 units sold in the same month of 2015.

    Oh God! See the sales of Hero moto, 6 Lakh plus bikes sold within a month...It seems that the Splendour & Passion mania will last for next few decades more!
    But why Bajaj is loosing even after having great performance bikes in their portfolio?

      Bajaj dealers/service centres want them to enter the scooter segment but i don't know why it hasn't yet.
      Earlier Bajaj used to manufacture 'Chetak' successfully in the market. What changed ?

        Bajaj is pity happy with the profits from KTM sales(both domestic and export) I suppose. More over its CT 100, V15 and Pulsar 150 has descent sales. Hence they arnt bothered about scooters.
        But what they should do now is- Launch a 150cc scoot, derived from the DTSi engine, and drop a bomb on Aprilia. But they wont.
