CEAT Tyres has introduced a new range of puncture-safe tyres for motorcycles. The fist set of tyres will be coming in South India, beginning with Telangana and Andhara Pradesh.
The all new range of CEAT tyres is developed at its research and development centre at Halol in Gujarat, and will be available as an after-market fitment for motorcycles.
The Puncture-safe tyres has a layer of gum like substance (gel) which acts as a sealant material in the tread area. This substance plays an important role in sealing the damaged area by to any sort of penetrating object that causes the puncture, in turn preventing air loss and avoiding the need for immediate repair.
