The year 2016 has proven to be a productive year for the motorcycle manufacturers as all of them have reported higher sales in the month of October as compared to the sales of the same month last year. The ever growing trend of motorcycles in India has not only played a pivotal role in increasing the sales but has succeeded in gaining the attention of the big motorcycle companies like BMW Motorrad.


The October 2016 sales report of the Two-wheeler manufacturers are as follows -


Reportedly, TVS Motors has witnessed a 12% increase in total sales at 3,08,690 units this October as compared to the sales of October 2015, which was 2,74,622 units.


Hero MotoCorp, has reported a 3.64% increase in sales with the sales at 6,63,153 units in October 2016. The company has sold 6,39,802 units in October 2015.


Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto reported a sales of 3,56,168 units as against 3,52,822 units in October 2016.


Royal Enfield has reported the sales of 59127 units in October 2016. The company sold 44522 units last October.


Yamaha has 22% growth in the sales at 86,428 units in October.


The sales report of Mahindra and Suzuki are yet to come.
