One question I've never got a concrete answer for is - does the triple Spark really help mileage wise? Seems like only Bajaj has that tech.

Yes, in that case the rider should find some measures to o prevent it from happening. Of course, if the Tank bag is tight enough, it won't break it..

i thought all tank bags are magnetic. anyways, non magnetic bags can be used if its not too heavy.

otherwise console will get crushed on bumps.

Which means we can use a tank bag. But not a Magnetic bag!! Unless the console displays something very useful!

its kinda useless. bajaj could've done without it. shows only warning lights like temperature, battery, abs, side stand etc. and a bajaj logo.

what info does the secondary console display? Anything very important?

i think so. felt like that. secondary console means you cant put a tank bag anyways.

took a test ride today. here are my impressions compared to R15 version 1:

power: an upgrade over r15. was afraid it would be close to pulsar 200ns or r15 cause its low on power and high on weight compared to duke390. happy to report its closer to duke than pulsar 200ns. not mind blowing like duke 390 but there is urgent surge. you wont ask for more power in India.

handling: i took same corner 5-6 times continuously and each time my confidence was rising. its not as sharp as r15 but holds line well and offers no surprises or twichiness. handlebar is wide and gives good leverage. pegs are wide set and far from each other but tank gives good anchorage. tips in without too much force. tires more grippy than michelin pilot sporty i am using on r15 currently but likely not as grippy as stock r15 tires.

suspension: definitely more soft than r15. didnt corner hard but for road usage in India, should suffice. you really cant push r15 to its limits on road in India. dominar would suit average rider like me fine.

comfort: comfier than r15 version 1. no surprises there. compared to himalyan or mojo, pegs slightly rear set and handlebar a bit lower. gives good feedback of road below and much more confidence inspiring than those 2. does not feel too heavy in traffic or moving aroud in parking lot. is managable.
