Was super excited about the new Fireblade. It's my dream bike.
But is it really worth 24 lakhs on road Pune? Should I sell my Z 800 which has no problems at all and buy this bike ?
Z has satisfied me so well. Don't feel the need to buy a litre superbike.
What funny times we have come to!

There's almost a 1.5 lakh price difference between Maharashtra and Delhi ex showroom prices.

So I went to the Honda showroom on the eve of Africa Twin launch. Told the manager that I am interested in the 2017 Fireblade. First he asked which bike do I own. His tone changed after I told him I have a Z800. He took my number and told me that I will contact you later. There was no contact whatsoever.

Then called him 3-4 times. Everytime he was either busy or not answering. A few days back received a call that he will enquire and tell me. He has no idea about the on road price in Pune. He will let me know in some time. That was a week back.

I am completely surprised by the response, I knew Honda has this arrogant attitude for normal bikes and scooters. The showroom people don't entertain potential buyers.

But this attitude towards potential superbike owners is surprising. Why would I go for Fireblade after this kind of treatment?

That same response made me took R15 instead of 250r. Better try from other dealer. That one is a hell of a machine. Congrats on your decision and do treat us with some awesome pics after you got the beast.
