Just got a call from Dsk Benelli today regarding my query on their website. The spokeperson gave me address and contact of Local Benelli showroom and revealed few facts which might be incorrect. They were-
1. Expected on-road price will be over 4L!
2. Bookings are being accepted by paying 10k INR and test riding will be available from 1st week of July.
3. Deliveries will start from mid July
4. Dual channel ABS is standard

I also asked about other details like Metzeler tyres, color varaints etc but no info was given.
The simple fact that it will cost over 4L itself makes me want to leave this bike for good.My budget is 2.5L and could have streched till 3, but 4 is plain robbery. Now i will have to wait for Tvs Akula. Hope they don't do same like Benelli, otherwise Ktm RC390 will be my only option left 😢

4 Lac it is. I have not bought D400 yet only because it is naked bike. Now i wait for Akula or Bajaj to bring some fully faired 400cc bike this October or Diwali

My problem as well - been looking for a good naked bike within 2L, can stretch up to 2.5L if needed, but I am not liking anything from what is available. I was hoping to see CBR250's updated model, but Honda doesn't seem keen. FZ25 is not exciting enough and Benelli TNT25 is overpriced for what it offers!

Not a big fan of Bajaj, but might consider Dominar if nothing else comes up by Diwali this year.
