Tell me, do you really need such groups to enjoy motorcycles?Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostAnd AS 200 is ignored again. Why dont they just discontinue the bike?
How does it matter if your companion rides a CD100 or a Ninja?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

Do many people actually fear for safety when it comes to such communities? AFAIK, many don't have the time or not willing to come for meets/rides... not sure about safety.. This is actually misleading.. Correct me if I am wrong..Splendor - 2k to 2006

I was a part of one such RS200 breakfast ride organized by Sai Service Center in Mumbai. In that ride, more than 50% of junta was without any kind of gears and was wearing only helmets. Many of them did not even know that such things exist / that my jacket is different from a normal cloth jacket they wear / that how bad their helmet is if it costs less than what my visor alone would cost. But this ride was a good experience for them to learn about 1) Importance of safety gears, 2) Importance of safe riding and 3) Introduction to the world of touring.
Even if half of this population starts wearing good gears and ride safely, I think the aforementioned ride did its job perfectly.Riding a bike is like flying.... All your senses are alive...

I feel they are actually talking about "How the people are scared for their safety" Like what if they are robbed or something..Splendor - 2k to 2006

Same happens in some of the ktm orange rides. Although they keep helmet mandatory but quality of helmet is not there and other gears are not mandatory.Originally posted by rachitsharma2000 View PostActually I second that..

Re: Bajaj launches rider communities for Pulsar and Avenger owners
If riders(not all) can learn some safe riding skills apart from the importance of safety gears, then its worth it. As a start, safety gears and ISI certified full Helmets can be made mandatory for registration.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
