CEAT Limited, A Indian tyre manufacturer has been conferred the prestigious Deming Prize.
CEAT became the first tyre company in the world, outside of Japan, to have the honour of receiving this award. The Deming Prize recognizes companies that achieve business transformation by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM).
The award receiving ceremony will be held in Tokyo on 8th November 2017.
On this achievement,Mr. Anant Goenka, Managing Director, CEAT Limited, said: “We are delighted and honored to receive the Deming prize. It's a significant milestone and testimony to our journey of quality and customer-centricity. All activities and processes are geared towards enhancing customer satisfaction and we are working hard every day to enhance these processes. Quality is also about living our purpose which is 'Making Mobility Safer and Smarter Everyday'. The journeys continues, every day.”
