So now in 2018 due to the updated CBU tax the MT-09 has got a price reduction of ₹1,32,547 from the November ex-showroom Delhi launch price.

This brings the MT-09 below ₹10lakh ex-showroom and brings good competition now to Street Triple S and RS model by being right in the middle of the two models.

Now with the updated pricing the MT-09 seems VFM for it offers.

    Cheers!

IMO the color scheme looks like a custom aftermarket paint job. Yellow or Blue colored rim ruined the looks completely. Didn't expected such color schemes from Yamaha.

These colours have been there internationally from 2016. It gives the MT-09 the unique quirky playful hooligan identity as Yamaha fans claim.

Yes it's steep but I feel now after the price correction, taking into account the ridiculous pricing of Street Triple S and RS, the MT-09 brings a better value proposition to the table inspite of being a CBU.

MT-09 is a sweet jack of all trades kinda motorcycle now in this segment, with loads of character.
