This Ducati looks amazing. Wait, it's not a Ducati?what it is then? A TVS? Oh My God!
Some people not happy with the Apache sticker, but guess they want to create a brand around it so why not. My problem is with smaller DOHC sticker under it. Like it's a proper techno breakthrough coming to the Indian market. May be they should have a 'disc brakes' embossed somewhere as well

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
Guys I was researching via Google and guess what, this TVS beauty is wider than Ninja 300, Ninja 400, Ninja 650, R3, CBR650F, Daytona 675R, only 4mm lesser than Ninja 1000.
So this width of 786 mm owing to wind tunnel tested fairing is what gives it the supersport type presence!
PS: Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Cheers!Last edited by jazzysaravana; 12-06-2017, 06:08 PM.

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
There is no slipper clutch in the bike.
Also ABS cannot be switched off. There are no steel braided lines and no pillion grab rails.Front forks cannot be adjusted. Having said that its a stunner and the instrument cluster is killer with lots of features. F
The design is a looker. It will surely turn lots of heads on the road without a doubt. It could be in my stable if i like the ride
I hope the pillion comfort is good too, else that could be a deal breaker for me.
Slightly worried about service and parts cost.

This will kill the RC 200, not the RC 390.
Its 4 thousand more than the RC 200 for much more power.

You sure its slipper clutch???Originally posted by 724Eagle View PostBike defiantly looks impressive at this price point. Desi version of Ducati (red one
). Most of the guys loved black one, but red one looks better to my eyes. I believe, cheapest 300 cc fared bike in the market with ABS and slipper clutch. Will cannibalize RC 390 for sure. Though I am little skeptical about performance against 390s. There isn't raw power here (linear power delivery instead).
Also the servicing costs front, KTMs are fairly reasonable in terms of servicing costs. This being BMW engine at the core, spare parts could be on the expensive side. Service network also could be an issue.
Great to have such competitive products in the market, we all are the beneficiaries
with so many choices. Hope, it will do well.

Duke 200, 250 and RC 200 and duke 390 have been shot with a single bullet. That’s Apache 310.
Sweet package. Period. I really wish they don’t screw the marketing for this.
Dominar must be an angry lion now.
Seating on 310 looks too good for touring. Not an upright seating though.

Pricing could be less around 10-20K but its still looks a very good product. Kudos to TVS for such a beautiful machine.
Who knows this little extra money may give you a pure BMW product feel

Those ppl who are saying that it's priced around rc390... Do mind that on road rc390 cost around 2.65lakhs... for 30k less u are getting way better premium quality parts... Less buzzy engine & almost same top end as rc 390. Company claimed 160kmph offcours u gonaa see more no. On speedo same as rc390!!...

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
My initial thoughts..
Superb Pricing right in the middle of Dominar and RC390!
Some KTM fans are angry over the pricing in online forums. Let me tell you my side having owned two of them, Duke 200 from five years ago and a Duke 390 in 2015..
KTM's are hardcore, raw and wild, oh and they heat up a lot too!. Edgy, skinny styling, lightweight build(changed alloy wheels three times for our road conditions!). Their acceleration is pure adrenaline rush and give you a high every time you crack open at a signal. The story ends there.
After clocking more than 25000 kms on them I can say they're not for comfort, everyday rideability or maturity. And this feedback is what Bajaj took and slowly made a niche in the Dominar.
Now TVS hit the jackpot when they signed up with BMW. When TVS quality control and BMW's engineering come together you know the product will be good.
So after waiting and waiting so long for replacement for the CBR250R not Honda but TVS takes the task to fill that segment with this Apache 310RR. This is the spiritual and ideal successor is what I reckon!
Superb Features at VFM Package, Comfort Oriented Ergonomics when compared to rivals, Massive 600cc Supersport type presence, Good Ride and Handling but last but not least Superior Quality Control than Bajaj/KTM.
I'm eagerly waiting to grab my hands on one.
Cheers!

The pricing ₹ 2.05L ex-showroom is good - Looks are aggressive, the bike seems more suitable for tracks than touring. Would love to see it in metal though.
Is xBHP doing its review anytime soon?Last edited by manishh; 12-06-2017, 03:47 PM.
