  • Retro love: The Kawasaki Z900RS launched.

The 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS has been launched in India! Oozing 70s charm and that delicious Z900 engine, tweaked for upright riding, it comes with a caveat though - a hefty Rs 15.30 lakh price tag.

While it’s sure check all the boxes with those who love retro-modern biking, it’s pricing (CBU, made in Japan) is in no way going to entice many when we have Triumph with far more economical alternatives already.

Here’s Overdrive’s report for all the details:

    News Approved.

The classic looking Triumphs' are in a different league than this 4 barrel shooter, but that won't help if the price difference is this big...

No worries though, as they say, "what is expensive is exclusive". That's the entire point, right? \

Like that Rs. 12 Lacs priced Vespa 946 Emporio Armani? (the 125cc scooter that didn't sell even 1 unit).

Well, that’s one way to look at it! [emoji3]

The number of launches Kawasaki has carried out in the past ten months is indicative of the company’s (rumoured) plans set up their manufacturing operations in India.

What this would eventually translate to is a wider spectrum of options for the Indian rider, since Kawasaki (and Honda too) have models that range from humble 300cc fun bikes all the way to the super bikes that tear across the race tracks.
