Re: Ninja 300: Price to Drop Significantly
Yea , i did , but the localisation of the Kawasaki , which was just been done , would just help kawasaki to sell few hundred bikes, If the above statement is true from indian perspective. Then the work put on by the Kawasaki to localise the bike is just waste of time and money for their company considering just for 1 year. What do you think about this?Originally posted by MotoBlizzard View Post

Re: Ninja 300: Price to Drop Significantly
I think that all this hoopla about 'local assembly' by Kawasaki for certain models like the Ninja 300 and the ZX-10R/RR, with a nice reduction in prices, is actually a stock clearance exercise in disguise. There's going to be a new 10R in all likelihood and we know for a fact that the 300 is discontinued. What better way to clear unsold stock than to ship the bike parts/bikes to India, a land of price-conscious aspirational motorcyclists, reduce the profit margins, call it 'local assembly'* and sell all of that piled up inventory?
*(okay they actually have some India-made components but these seem to be the easiest to make like lights and plastics etc)200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Couldn't have said it better. Perfect strategy I call it while everyone falls for the reduced price shenanigans.Originally posted by tanay View PostI think that all this hoopla about 'local assembly' by Kawasaki for certain models like the Ninja 300 and the ZX-10R/RR, with a nice reduction in prices, is actually a stock clearance exercise in disguise. Re: Ninja 300: Price to Drop Significantly
If you want to buy N300 then you should go for it, that further price reduction may not most likely happen and you wont be able to purchase this at all if they discontinue this model after this year and then will have to shell out a big amount for the N400.Originally posted by VRNANDAGOPAL View PostIs it ok to buy the ninja 300 now?? I was planning to!! And i was going through a page which says that the prices will drop further by next month, is it really true?? Just curious to know!
