When you cant beat the Splendor with better bikes, like the Victor, launch a bike looking exactly the same(with a RE type tank pad twist).

May be TVS trying this 1 last retort to challenge the leader. But I doubt the herd mentality of Indians will break any time soon. Even it does 10-15K units a month, TVS should be satisfied.

tvs sells relatively better down south, especially in TN. The rest of india is another story largely due to lack of marketing and presence. I don't see it change anytime soon considering the already good brand image of honda and hero in the commuter segment. Atleast somehow they got their scooters doing relatively better numbers.
