Shown as a concept last year at EICMA, the Benelli 752S is powered by a 750cc, DOHC, four-valve, parallel-twin engine that makes around 75 Bhp of power and 66 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted by a 6-speed transmission. It is built around a tubular steel trellis chassis. Now, something to be noted here is that the bike weighs 227 kg fully-fuelled and road ready which is a smidge heavier than what we’d like… okay we guess it is much more than a smidge!
Suspension duties are handled by 50 mm Marzocchi upside down front forks and a 45 mm monoshock at the rear which is adjustable for spring preload. Brakes from Brembo are gripping 320 mm double discs at the front and a single 250 mm disc at the rear. The front is a four-piston caliper and the rear, a single piston. The fuel tank can hold 14 litres of fuel.
Expect more information about the pricing, availability and other things to be revealed with the official introduction of the motorcycle, hopefully at EICMA. Benelli plans to introduce a plethora of models in India next year and we are quite sure that this motorcycle is going to be one of them. It may not look like much on paper but the design of the bike is stunning and seeing this green-twin on Indian roads would a fun we reckon.
