Still it would be much better if they were to make the bike available to potential buyers and reviewers for feedback. At this point the RE 650 pair is stealing all their thunder. Bad timing and lack lustre engagement. What Mahindra really needs is a total media blitz singing praises of their machines to draw eyeballs and eat into RE fanbase. Sadly marketing has always been Mahindra's weakest point. Shame that marketing is letting down what is probably a great product . Also I dont understand why they dont have a celebrity pushing the brand?

On the other hand, RE's marketing is spot on! Even the way their CEO looks is in keeping with their Retro Hipster theme . Gotta hand it to them there. Anand Mahindra needs to grow a beard and start wearing denim and leather everything

Hahahaha. I am actually astonished by the detail you wrote on the looks. Good point, however I would like to differ. Anand Mahindra is not the face of Classic Legends Private limited. He is deliberately staying away from the spotlight. Classic Legends is brainchild of Mr. Anupam Thareja. He would suit the profile you mentioned. Classic Legends is using Mahindra's facility to create Motorcycles, agreed. I also know M&M has 60% stake in CLPL and they are kind of using the Mojo Engine from M&M which is a bomb proof engine. But they are playing on the nostalgia factor card. The bikes are themselves sort of celebrities when it come to looks and name. Thus much fanfare was not needed. Initially, they want to garner the market interest and see sales figures. Even if it eats into 25% of RE monthly sales figures. We might see a 650cc Jawa sooner than expected. On marketing front, well its a new brand, lets wait and watch.

I am checking their website and net everyday for updates as I booked Jawa forty two and waiting when I willl get test drive!!
