"Suzuki will continue to sell the Hayabusa in markets like US and India for some time, but reports suggest not a lot of bikes will be made from its Japan plant next year. That means the bike could be discontinued in India next year."

There is no reason for them to continue manufacturing this bike as the sales will decline in anticipation of the Updated model.

The US maybe but India has a massive fan following because of the 'Dhoom bike' tag, Suzuki sells a lot of these!

Hayabusa was launched as a sports tourer, but it was caught by public as a hyper bike, more power than litre class machines. It sold many times more than they planned..

                    Might be BS6 norms.

Sad that the current one is going away
End of a era indeed. Due to all the regulations coming into play

I am guessing, with rumors going around the next-gen bike might have some kind of electric hybrid tech or some kind of forced induction like the H2R or even a turbocharged tech.
