  • Kawasaki Ninja 300 Spare Parts Prices Cut Drastically..!!

The reduction of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 spare parts prices will now bring the cost of ownership down significantly.

Often criticised for being a little overpriced with its products, Kawasaki is taking an aggressive and competitive side. Following the Ninja 300 price cut, the prices of its spare parts have now been reduced by a huge margin. Anzen Kawasaki, a dealership in Mumbai shared a list of update prices, which shows the massive difference.

Starting from the brake and clutch lever, throttle cables and tyres to the fairing and discs, everything has seen the reduction. The biggest price difference has come for the fairing on both sides. Prior to the price reduction, the fairing costed Rs. 52,280/- for each side, but now would be charged at just Rs. 5270/-. The front disc brake has seen a similar sharp reduction from Rs. 28,460/- to just Rs. 2100/-.

Earlier, the smallest Ninja in India, the Ninja 300 came under the price reduction radar as it is no longer a CBU (Completely Built Unit), but is now assembled locally. With this, the effective price stands at Rs. 2.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) as opposed the Rs. 3.63 lakhs prior to the price cut.
The reduction in the price has made the Kawasaki Ninja 300 the most affordable sports motorcycle with a twin-cylinder engine in India, dethroning the Yamaha R3, which retails at around Rs. 3.5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). However, it isn’t the most affordable twin-cylinder motorcycle in the country as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are now the most affordable ones to have a 2-cylinder engine.
If you own a Kawasaki Ninja 300, your next service will save you a lot of money, that’s for sure.

    Topic Approved.

This should help those who dream of owning a Kawasaki.

But still, in general, I'm concerned about the future of Kawasaki... No low cc budget bikes, but still more involvement in CKD than the nearest competition, and expensive spares and service for most of the range (although still acceptable among the Premium/ Superbikes), some bikes being too expensive segment wise (like Ninja 400), and lastly, not enough dealership spread of its own..

I hope Kawasaki develop a sustainable model for India. Because from where I'm seeing, they're not likely to be making huge profits..

I think they must get the Ninja 125 to India soon.

They are just indicating the price reduction. But one has to also note the change in vendor and parts, they completely different on the locally built model compared to CKD.

      1) New tyres are from MRF(₹4k R,₹2.5K F), older one were IRC(₹17K R,₹10K L)
      2) Bake calipers, pads are from Endurance(Pads cost ₹800 for each), older one had Nissin module( not sure?) and costed about ₹3k for each pads.
      3) Wheel assembly is also source form Endurance, not sure the brand of old CKD international model had. Down from ₹50K to approx ₹5-7K
      4) Indicators and all other plastic fairing parts will be form either of one of these reputed Indian vendors Minda/Lumax/Radiant/Varroc etc etc, again not sure on the old ones.

So using it on older 300 is like actually downgrading the stock bike parts, also any difference in mounting points on new vs old? Owners can confirm.
Quoting myself, the comment which I made from the N300 Ownership thread.
