The modern version of the Leoncino is a pure makeover of the original model and is a tribute to a legend of Italian motorcycling that largely contributed to the history of the brand, which today finds its identity in the modern world.”

“With the Indian motorcycle market gearing up for new segments and superbikes witnessing a progressive growth in the last few years, we have taken a strategic decision to bring in some of the globally renowned Benelli products into the Indian market. We are building a strong customer base and network across India and we are confident in driving sales and register positive growth in the coming years.” He further added.

Too little too late Benelli India..

Right now in India, anything below 65bhp you're better off buying the RE 650 twins, and saving tons of money in the long run.

Can't believe even after 8 months of launch motorcycle brands are still not even trying to counter the revolution done by RE.

Why now> We already have the RE 650 twins tearing up the market, BTW is it the same engine from TRK 502 offered at a differently tuned state?

I kind of disagree with this statement , I bought Duke 390 recently because I prefer naked bikes and sport bikes over roadsters and classics same way not everyone wants most bang for buck.
We have also seen massive sales increase for Ninja 300 even though its still expensive in comparison to RE 650, I understand that Lencino is kind of a classic bike category but its more of budget scrambler it kind of a bike for people who want Ducati scrambler but don't have budget for it.
Thats being said you're not wrong for most people RE 650 is more than enough.

          Regards,
          Mohan

The pricing should have been lower by at least 25% in my opinion. The current phase the of automotive industry in India does not place it as a value for money proposition.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
