Triumph recently posted a teaser video announcing the 2020 Street Triple 765. From what we could gather from the video, the biggest change comes in the form of new headlights. Sharper, slanted and complemented by the angry-eyebrow DRLs. The wheels and the suspension also seem unchanged and the same can be said about the overall geometry of the streetfighter.
The video also shows the silhouette of the motorcycle which reveals that the basic shape and overall stance of the motorcycle will be largely similar to the current model. Even then, the sharper front certainly lends the motorcycle a more aerodynamically efficient looking front.

An interesting detail is that the video only seems to talk about the top-of-the-line RS variant when it comes to the 2020 Street Triple 765. This detail corroborates with what we posted before i.e. when the European type-approval documents for the bike emerged that only named the Street Triple RS.
But then, that information came along with the American emissions documents that revealed that the Street Triple R will get similar changes. Also, spy shots from before showed a motorcycle with the revised front end but with the basic, entry-level suspension system of the Street Triple 765 S. So ideally, there is no reason to think that the base variant will be devoid of the changes coming to the new Street Triple 765 RS.
About the performance, the European documents revealed that the 2020 Street Triple 765 RS makes 121.4 bhp of power which is an almost insignificant 0.2 bhp increase over the current model. But when you think about the fact that Triumph was able to do so while complying to the emission norms, the achievement seems very impressive.

What we learnt from the American documents reveals that the new model employs two catalytic converters instead of one. What remains to be seen is how that affects the weight of the motorcycle and how Triumph plans to offset that. Seemingly, we do not have to wait too long as the full details will be out on the 7th of October.
