This should be the fastest bike in 160-180 cc Category Bikes in India. Superb kerb weight of just 142 Kg making this Hornet 2.0 even lighter then Xblade.

Well, I'm happy to see a good kerb weight in this BS6 era... Pricing is somewhat expected, even if slightly heart-wrenching.

Performance seems great for the BS6 era.. Let me remind you, my Pulsar 180 UG3 segment, did 16~ bhp, 15.22NM torque (which later went 14.22NM), now I know it was carburetted, but still..

And the innovations, the Piston cooling jet, the short exhaust, the USD forks in this segment, the instrumentation, etc. shows just what Honda is capable of, once it decides to make an awesome product!
The wheelbase will give it necessary stability on the highway, although its larger than other in-segment bikes.

Somehow, there're no visible gaps in the spec sheet. I believe it should do well.
With BS6 slated for at least 3 more years, they've readied a very good bike, a potential best seller in the price segment, in my opinion...

According to the respective manufacturer sites - Hornet 2.0 costs 1,30,182 Ex-showroom in Chennai whereas NS200 BS6 is 1,29,658. Am I missing something here, or all HMSI vehicles with poor VFM/high profit margin? The only outdated thing on the Pulsar seems to be the semi-analogue speedometer unit with no gear position indicator (GPI) - am okay with non-LED headlamp and conventional forks. It's high time Bajaj Auto updates the NS200/RS200 with fully digital speedometer + GPI, LED winkers and upside down forks. Bajaj's spare availability is superior out of the two.

Honda should have provided dual channel abs at this price point. Since apaache has more power, dual channel abs, slipper clutch, better exhaust. Etc
