CBZ had been my charm from day one. I owned a classic 2001 model for some time. And the affinity naturally flowed in to Xtreme too. I really hope this bike does well. Hero caters to a certain segment and serves well there historically.

Quite sad to see Hero's Position in the affordable performance segment - They're not there.The CBZ was unbeatable,The Karizma was loved by everyone.But they killed both the brands by uncompetitive products.Now with the Xtreme 200,Sure it's priced so well as it makes for an excellent choice against the other 150-160cc bikes.But comparing it to it's real competition,Which is the RTR200,NS200 and FZ25,This looks like a joke.Which is really sad because Hero has the required money for R&D needed to make a proper entry-level sportsbike and the HX250R was proof.Sadly,Even that amazing project was killed.

For the Xtreme 200R and it's pricing,It's like a 16 year old sitting in a class of 13 year olds just to make himself feel better,because he cannot compete with his fellow 16 year olds.I hope Hero gets back to their senses and bring back the CBZ and Karizma in a proper way.

This Xtreme 200R is going to sell really well provided they do good marketing.
