The Ninja H2 was dethroned by the Ducati Panigale V4 which produces around 214 bhp as compared to the 197 bhp of the previous Ninja H2. But Kawasaki, with the 2019 updates have upped the power of the H2 from 197 bhp to 228 bhp. An increase of 31 horses. This has been made possible with updates in the ECU, air intakes, spark-plugs and the air filter as well. The torque on the bike too goes up by 8.2 Nm for a total of 141.7 Nm of peak torque. The bike still weighs 238 kg wet and remains Euro IV compliant.

The 2019 model of the Ninja H2 has been fitted with Brembo’s Stylema Monobloc calipers, the highest spec street use-calipers. Compared to the previous M50 units, the new calipers are said to have less volume around the pistons and brake pads. This reduces the internal space taken up by brake fluid, enabling a more direct response. New Bridgestone RS11 Sport tyres are wrapped around the wheels for improved handling. Also, all the lighting is now LED (headlamp, position lamps, taillight, turn signals and license plate lamp).

Also, the new Ninja H2 gets TFT instrumentation with wireless smartphone connectivity using the Rideology app. This feature seems to have been borrowed from the tourer of the family, Ninja H2 SX SE. The most stand-apart feature has to be the self-healing paint. It has a special coat that allows it to fix minor scratches provided the ambient temperature is high enough. It is to be noted though that this is only for minor scratches and even then it requires time and a high ambient temperature.
The pricing of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 2019 range starts from INR 34.5 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The Ninja H2 Carbon starts from INR 41 lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and the mighty Ninja H2R starts at INR 72 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi).

The deliveries of the Kawasaki Ninja H2 2019 range in India will start 2019 onwards.
