Dragster 800 RR America
Yesterday we brought to you the info on the mad MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro and while this one basks in all the limelight, there’s another one in the shadows which is no less a looker- MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR America.
The Brutale 800 RR America gets its name from the 1973 MV Agusta S America 750 and blends history with modern electronics, components, and styling. It is a homage by by MV Agusta which comes 45 years after the original motorcycle. Only 200 units of the 2019 MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR America will be made. Each bike will come with a certificate of authenticity, and have a numbered plate installed near the instrument cluster.
This special motorcycle though is only a visual overhaul which means that the mechanicals are identicl to the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR i.e. the engine produces 138 Bhp of power which propels the 168 kg (dry) motorcycle. The bike comes with a robust electronics package, which includes an eight-level traction control system and perhaps the best up/down quickshifter available on the market.
2019 MV Agusta RC Range
We are all familiar with the RC range of motorcycles from MV Agusta. RC simply implies that the race inspired machines are limited in quantity, feature a unique race-inspired livery, and arrive with extra go fast parts that come in a special wood box.
The 2019 RC range has more ‘black’ in the color scheme of the special livery but all the motorcycles are still beautiful nonetheless. This time around though, we also see the MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800 SCS model getting the RC treatment, with its sport clutch system easy to spot.
Apart from that we have the MV Agusta F3 675 RC and the formidable track tool- MV Agusta F3 800 RC. The MV Agusta F4 RC is the one to get though because this is the last year of the legendary superbike and thus the F4 RC might be something of a collector’s edition (at least for the ones who cannot afford the ultra-exquisite and super exclusive MV Agusta F4 Claudio).
Then we have the 2019 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RC is built off the base model version of this naked bike instead of the Brutale 800 RR which is curious. Apart from the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Serie Oro which is an extremist’s motorcycle, we also expect to see the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 which is supposed to debut at EICMA as well. We might even see an RC version of it, maybe in 2020.
