MV Agusta revealed the special RC range of their motorcycles at EICMA 2018. One of them, the MV Agusta F3 800 RC, has been launched in India. But there’s a catch. Only 6 units will go on sale with each carrying a price tag of INR 21.99 lakh (Ex-showroom). A special edition, the MV Agusta F3 800 RC will be retailing at a premium of INR 4 lakh over the standard model!
The MV Agusta F3 800 RC is powered by the same engine that does duty on the standard model, i.e. the 798cc triple-cylinder engine which makes 153 Bhp of power and 88 Nm of torque. The throttle is Ride-by-wire and offers 4 riding modes. The electronics package is also sorted with ABS, Traction Control (8-Levels) etc.
Add to that dry weight of 165 kg and this motorcycle promises to be a potent track tool. The weight of the motorcycle can be attributed to the racing kit which also involves a carbon fibre exhaust by SC Project.
While the MV Agusta is a sizzler be it the looks or the performance, the asking price of INR 21.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) does incite the idea of getting a litre-class motorcycle instead.
