Aishwarya Pissay has done the country proud yet again as she becomes the first Indian woman to win a world title in motorsports. In 2018, she also became the first Indian woman to take part in the Baja Aragon World Rally in 2018. Aishwarya, who won the first round in Dubai, was placed third in Portugal, fifth in Spain, and now fourth in Hungary which saw her clinch the title, 4 points ahead of Portugal’s Rita Vieira.
Before her impressive international stint, Aishwarya Pissay has been a stellar performer in the national arena as well. She is the first Indian woman to win 5 National titles in Road Racing and Rally Championship combined. Based in Bangalore, Aishwarya Pissay is a graduate from the Apex Racing Academy.
