  • Norton Dominator Street is an exquisite 50-units limited edition

Norton Motorcycles is a Donnington based firm which is linked to one of the most radical-looking motorcycles, be it the Commando 961 or the V4 RR and SS. And now, they have come up with another motorcycle which surely lives up to the standards of Norton. But... it is a limited edition. Here, for your viewing pleasure is the Norton Dominator Street!

An advance from Commando Street, the Norton Dominator Street will be limited to only 50 units. Norton has priced the motorcycle at £21,950 which translates to around INR 20 Lakhs. The deliveries of the motorcycle are expected to begin in September 2019. Like most limited-editions, the Norton Dominator Street will also come marked with a unique production number because of course, what is exclusivity without visibility? But more than that, the stamped production number serves a purpose of marking the authenticity.

Staying true to its limited-edition badge, the motorcycle features a handmade tank. The chassis is borrowed from the standard Dominator. The suspension system comprises of an Öhlins rear shock and the option for either adjustable USD or conventional Öhlins forks. The handlebar though is more upright when compared to the standard motorcycle's clip-ons.

What will really set the limited-edition apart from the standard version though, is the exhaust note. The Norton Dominator Street features the same 961cc parallel-twin motor but is mated to a handmade two into one exhaust. This promises to provide the bike with an amplified soundtrack. And what about the emission norms? It bypasses Euro emissions restrictions thanks to being sold using Single Vehicle Approval homologation, available to UK markets only.

Other than that, much like the conventional Dominator, there’s a carbon hugger and front mudguard, alongside a fly screen, polished yokes, engine covers and a drilled clutch cover, chainguard in addition to a carbon airbox. It's a shame that a motorcycle like that is not available in India. But our community members who are residing in the UK and want to get their hands on one, please ready a deposit of £2000. Once you do, visit here or simply send an enquiry mail at [email protected].
