I'm not saying that they're doing it without any monetary gains in mind... no business would succeed that way. The point I'm trying to make is that they have obviously overlooked the political conflict that is going on between India and Pakistan...and even the thought of setting up shop here signifies a positive move forward towards mutual understanding.
@ Akshay - They are doing something extraordinary... Do u see any Indian manufacturers setting up shop in Pakistan??
About 'high-tech' and 'world class' - HH, Bajaj & TVS are not even close.... the only reason they're seeing profits is coz they're catering to the needs of a country with the world's largest population... Do u think the HH/Bajaj/TVS manufacturing or R&D divisions are more advanced or even on par with the Jap 4 or the Germans? Not even close.... We dont have an inline 4, disc brakes made an entry into our markets just a couple of years back, still no rear discs...need I go on?
