I know it seems harsh, but while he spends the sentence in the jail alone and lonely, he will think over the fact, that he was risking many people's lives... Maybe, it will make him more mature than that ...

However, I do agree it could have better been 3 months, considering the family and all issues... He has re-appealed in higher courts. Let's see what happens...
