Didn't see such reactions when Bajaj announced its low cost bike!
From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

The low cost HH bike would be more path breaking w.r.t Indian requirements compared to Tata NANO...,
        1. More people become mobile at lower initial cost
        2. A 100/75cc bikes are very fuel efficient, hence consume lesser fuel
        3. We can't ignore aspirations of low income group, let them aquire bike and feel 'free' like us, I am for it. When middle class can rejoice at TATA nano, there's nothing wrong in a product targeted at low-income group.
        4. A TATA Nano can cause more havoc in city traffic than HH's LC bike.
        2. A Tata Nano may be used by single user in cities (women/office goers) hence fuel consumed per person for commuting certain distance is more than HH LC bike by almost 4 times !

        Just my thoughts !!

It is because of these people that we can afford fuel. Imagine all people riding 200cc+ bikes and the fuel shortage it will create!
As long as HH will exist, we can safely ride 200cc+ bikes here.

Maybe Honda CD70, sold in Pakistan, with a face-lift will be launched as the new low cost bike for India!
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

                some 12 - 18 months left
did i read rite or i am sleepy

so why release some statements so early
just to make people wait for their bike and avoid a bajaj bike which may come out earlier then them

anyways guys i think it will not affect much i think
people who are anyways fuel conscious buy cd 100 or something for less than 15k( dont know the exact figures ) n be happy ... and anyways create nuisance n headache ...
but yeah the new bike factor will remain

now may be they ll buy this .... but it should be slow like a tort ... so they cant rip ride it
Hope is a good thing ,
may be the best of things and
no good thing ever dies .

wow if these bikes are launched a plenty then even splendour riders could get a premium feel with their rides
AFAIK Bajaj already had a cheap model named BYK which went flop and was withdrawn from the market

Here's one more link, from where Apna Vicky copied stuff from..

                      Now, Hero Honda dreams 'Nano'

And regarding my reaction, this is another such news I'll read and forget, within no time at all.
When the world is going forward, HH wants to go backward, just for corporate gains.

I mean, why can't they attempt giving more for same/less price like Bajaj did with XCD? Such a product from HH would be an instant hit!
