    Motorcyclist lynched for knocking down goat

    Villagers beat a 30-year-old motorcyclist to death after he ran over a goat in Bihar''s East Champaran district, police said today. Lal Babu Sahni was on his way to a relative''s house when his motorcycyle hit a goat which suddenly came before his two-wheeler yesterday at Sapahidih Tola village.
    Angry villagers intercepted the man and start beating him. A profusely bleeding Sahni was rescued and taken to Sadar hospital where he succumbed today, police said.
    An FIR has been lodged naming eight persons as accused.

            Its very sad & disgusting that our country still has stone age barbarians...I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the 8 accused making his way to the Lok Sabha someday!!!!

            I am wondering if Menaka Gandhi & her animal rights group will still say the goat had the right-of-way and greater right-to-live than the biker.
