Chill Synn, Am not saying or opposing anybody, I trust MG alot, just got curious to know why. (See my reply to vipin_s on page 2)
And i dont know much about these viral(term) thingy, but even I do these kinda publicity gimmick in my industry (i.e, animation) for animation films, series, ads, etc., like leaking a scene n stuff

Well anyone can identify it seeing the same ZMA alloys & Engine (yes its visible, though golden)
Viral Marketing - marketing a product or service by 'infecting' one of the target audience or the influencor and ensuring that the person infected infects other potential target prospects usually by Word of Mouth etc.

So like a Virus, I infect you stating that the new ZMA is 250CC PGMFI and I know you will blabber about it on xBHP and thereby spreading the 'news' and that will fetch me a LOT of feedback and PS: I can still safely say that I never said that!

Yeah he was almost 'wanting' to show off his 'Golden Engine'

Another show off in that video, am sure if the clip continued the rider would have gone ahead and showcased other stuff in the bike as well

(I still doubt that its a projector)

@HH: Please give a bike to XBhp. We can test it within a single day (And ofcourse, we won't charge anything, would we?)

    +1

Sure! That too without any fear of infractions

It was the rear footpeg. At 0:22 you can see the rider moving his leg from the rear foot peg to the front one, to shift the gear.

    Rotfl

    3 days for launch??
Lolz, you think they are testing bikes like this? ROFLMAO!
I know of another manufacturer who used to ride 3 "setups" of bike amongst a secret group of 9 riders and SVC guys and what not....! and there test plan was 'awesome' enough to put "most" xBHPian tourers\stunters to shame...

New Hero Honda Bike under testing. caught it during my trip from jaipur to delhi near Hero Honda's Dharuhera Plant, near Bilaspur. The bike is awesome. It' has rear disc Brakes, front of course, muscular body, more rider friendly seating position, digital speedometer, led tails lamps and indicators in the rear resemble to CBZ Xtreme, the capacity of the engine is not known by me, but by the size of bike i can say that it is either new 250 cc FI bike or maybe 300/350 cc Bike. The video was taken by me on 29/07/09. Most Probable launch of this bike will be during Diwali season. It's for sure that the bike is under testing and this time Hero Honda is really going to shut the mouths of many in the market. Lets see what happens in future.
thanks fr sharing the info bro.......waiting eagerly fr its launch

Although its a faint memory ..i think he is the same guy who tested the original zma before it was launched...the attire and his persona is similar to what was seen in a picture released in TOI way back when the original zma was being tested.....man he has some patience... :-) :-)

I have the same question here...maybe because if someone does take a video or a snap,we cannot make out the exact design of the headlight...Think so

Keeping the headlights on is a safety feature. In fact, it is mandatory in several countries (Like here, for example). It has been proven that keeping the headlights on during day time let the other motorists be aware of the motorcycle's presence.

It just may be that the guy was doing his best to keep the prototype safe from mishaps.

Here, if we are riding with lights on in day time, we end up seeing several people pointing at us and hinting to turn-off 'em

Switching on headlights during cloudy/rainy/dull climate is quite common even in India. In the video I see the roads are wet and climate quite cloudy, the rider is doing the right thing and is not about show off as synn has quoted.

Is it only me, or did anyone else notice this as well: There's a purple-ish colored mirror in the frame at around 0:14-0:16. I wonder what purple themed bike the videographer was riding when he spotted this one.

Hmm... for those of us (still?) wondering if this IS indeed a publicity gimmick ('viral video' per say) from HH, be on the lookout for a purple colored ZMR; if you find one, then there's a strong chance HH was testing two bikes at the same time

if HH is not going to launch it soon than they will start loosing the 225cc crown of zma
