    Its probably possible..

    Check this out:

    Tubeless Tyres

Tubeless tyres work by sealing the spoke well of the rim, either with a specially designed rim and spokes, or with a butyl/plastic strip. The valve is either a separate item sealed with an 'O' ring or part of the rim strip. The tyre is also air tight, this can be done either by adding rubber to the tyre material, or more commonly by coating the inside of the casing with Butyl rubber.
Nowadays tubeless tyres are a good to have feature especially on long distance tourers.

took you half an hour to find it

These are for moto-X ... I still doubt they'd want to put tubeless on these rims

Not quite sure why but when I was changing rear tyre on my bike the guy selling the tyres categorically said that the tubless ones are for alloys only.

Tubeless tires on a spoke wheel is possible, provided the spoke wheel is made specifically to support it. The biggest issue is the sealing of all the holes where the spokes are attached to the rim. That is one heck of a task. On alloys this issue doesn't exist since there are no holes around the whole circumference of the rim.

So yes, tubeless on spoke wheels is possible, but the chances of these particular wheel supporting them is less. Not to mention that the shape of a tubeless rim is generally different than a tubed rim.

checked the website and found no signs of the two machismos......500LB was a good one actually.

Guys, both the Classics have been launched... Did anyone in Xbhp book them?

Can't wait to hear an ownership report. After all, it is the most powerful, at least mathematically.

The Chennai-based manufacturer has finally launched the much anticipated Classic 350 and Classic 500 in India.

Technologically, one of the most advanced bikes ever built by RE, the Classic 500 features a fuel injected, 499cc, single cylinder UCE (Unitary Construction Engine) four stroke engine. It also happens to be the most powerful Bullet in production, delivering 27PS at 5250rpm and a whopping 41.3Nm of torque at 4000rpm.

During the launch Eicher Motors Managing Director and CEO Siddartha Lal said that Royal Enfield has an extremely rich heritage of practical leisure motorcycling for over 100 years. RE will use this philosophy and the UCE platform to design and introduce a wide range of motorcycles over the next three years to span a variety of motorcycling genres such as classic sports and touring.

The Classic 500 is priced at approximately Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Classic 350 with the UCE comes with a price tag of approximately Rs 98,086 (ex-showroom).
                    Classics 500 is here

I would definitely love to own one.. but maybe not so soon. There is still some need for 'speed' and 'bhp' left in me.

Maybe a few years later... when things mellow down.

                        WOW! Finally........

I love these machines and I am a real fan of this old school British styling. I am real fan of RE and have been waiting for these models from the very day they were launched in European and american markets. I was a bit mad at RE for taking so long to release them here but they have finally pleased me with the pricing factor. Personally I felt the expected price for 1.4 lac was a bit over but judging for prices overseas and the package I still thought it was cool coz heart wants what the heart wants. Plus the 350 variant is a great step coz I think a 350 would make a pretty nice city rider. I'll be looking forward for this one on my trip to India.
                        When in doubt...... Gas it!

guys, I just test rode the Classic 500 yesterday and I was mighty impressed with it. It sounded like a normal Enfield but minus the loud sound of the rockers. The pull from standstill is amazing. There's always room for more throttle when you are riding it. It really moves fast and very fast at that. The handle bars are wide enough for you to feel like you are sitting on a pedestal and own the road.

The gear shift and the engine are really smooth as compared to earlier REs. I was not a big RE fan but now I am considering to add this one to my garage.
